Search and reports

Search helps users find bookings. Reports provide structured results for a date range and can be exported.

Use search when you know part of a booking title, description, creator, or other indexed field. Results are paginated; the default page size is controlled by $search["count"].

Private fields and booking details remain subject to access control.

Reports

Reports can be filtered by:

  • date range;
  • area or room;
  • booking type;
  • creator;
  • description or other booking fields; and
  • custom fields added to the database.

The default report period is 60 days in MRBS 1.12.2.

Export

Depending on the report and installation configuration, results can be downloaded as CSV, spreadsheet, or other supported formats.

Calendar entries can also be exported as iCalendar data. This is intended for exchange with calendar clients and other scheduling systems.

Public reports

Administrators can expose selected reports without normal authentication using report keys and allowlists. This is disabled by default.

Warning

Public report access can reveal booking information. Restrict allowed areas and rooms, use unguessable keys, and verify the result while signed out before publishing a link.
